Terms of use
Last updated 12 October 2026
These terms are between you and Workaholic Developers (“we”) for the Hisaabo app and its optional sync service. By using Hisaabo you agree to them.
What Hisaabo is
A personal money diary. It reads messages and files you give it, on your phone, and estimates budgets, forecasts and net worth. It is not a bank, a lender, an account aggregator or a financial, tax or investment adviser, and nothing in it is advice.
Accuracy
Banks write their messages in many ways and change them. Hisaabo may miss, misread or double-count a payment, and NAVs, forecasts and “safe to spend” are estimates. Check important numbers against your bank and fund statements.
Your part
- Use Hisaabo for your own money, or a family book's, with the other members' agreement.
- Keep your recovery key and backup passwords safe: we can't recover them.
- Don't misuse the sync service: no attempts to reach others' data, overload it or get around its limits.
The sync service
Sync and family books are offered free, as they are, and may change or pause. We keep reasonable care of the server, but keep an encrypted backup file or CSV export of anything you can't lose. You can delete your sync account at any time in the app.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Hisaabo is provided “as is”, and we are not liable for losses from decisions made using it, from missed or wrong entries, or from lost keys. Nothing here limits rights you have under Indian consumer law.
